This equipment makes it possible to convey the cereals directly into the hold of the ship, without grounding and thus without deteriorating the quality of the product.

During the call of the vessel MANISA GRETA (108 m long bulk carrier, under Maltese flag), from February 3 to 7, 2018, the trucks, about 100 a day, emptied the goods on the conveyor which conveyed it to the rhythm of 300 tons per hour. The dockers guided the grasshopper's head with a remote control, in order to distribute the goods in the hold.

A.M.L supervised the handling operations and ensured the shipping agency of the vessel.

MANISA GRETA sailed on February 7 with 6,600 tons of barley on board, to the Port of Lisbon in Portugal.

We hope this is a promising start on future tonnages!
